What the Hidden Bar will Entail.

As stated in the House Interior page, the Hidden bar will be accessed by pulling on a book or pulling on a book while doing something else that triggers the opening like an escape room. I'd like to make this easy enough that we can explain on paper or email for an invited guests to be able to do it, but not easy for a guest who's not invited that sees an invited guest do it to be able to replicate it right afterwards. This will require some thought. Maybe several steps are required. Fun!

Guests will be invited via a scheduling website, probably provided on this very website with a WordPress plug-in that allows them to schedule a time. The plug-in would have to allow them to only schedule ONE visit. Since we're open two nights (Friday and Saturday night), we would allow our crew and our (Lily and my) invited guests to be scheduled for one hour on one night of the 16 nights we're open to the public. If we're open 19:00-22:00 that means that we can have three groups per night, or approx. 24 groups for the entire run of that month. Each group would be from 6 to possibly 10 people max. So a group would show up before their scheduled time, and would be let in one at a time, while other guests from the previous hour might be leaving. Maybe we'll make an entrance door and an egress door.

Once a group is inside the bar, the bar will be themed haunted house, and have a table or two and the bar itself with a bartender behind it. They will be able to order drinks TBD and pub food snacks TBD. There will be a few large screens that will show video from cameras of the haunt on the outside and inside of the house. Additionally, guests will have two tablets they can share amongst them that will have an app on it that will show various rooms or things outside and let the guests in the hidden bar affect what's happening outside by pushing buttons. Maybe there will be an air blast that they can initiate (nothing else really scares guests, so this is TBD), and they can do things like cause a ghost to go across the zipline or to play sound effets into the house mix likely a wolf baying or crows cawing or something - all TBD. So basically these invited guests will all be friends of each other, and they can hand for an hour and each and drink while seated and play with these controls and talk and talk with the bar keep.
